Am I Sleep Deprived?
Recently I have not been sleeping well and also thinking about a change in life. As some of you may know I work part-time at a flower shop, got married last year - will be one year on June 9th!, and am the owner of Simply Sweet. I'm quite addicted to reading the news articles on AOL and hearing other people's story seemed to really ring a bell.
It writes from an article called:
A Nation of Zombies? Sleep Deprivation Takes Toll
"As a young mother in her twenties, Tracy Nasca, now 54, was a "total zombie."She lived in a twilight state of fatigue, exhausted and confused. She had no short term memory, forgetting everything from evening plans to entire phone conversations. Her school-age children cooked themselves meals while she struggled to get out of bed. Eventually she had to quit her job as a florist after she spent too many afternoons napping on the floor next to the refrigerators of roses.
After years of exhaustion, Nasca's doctors found a diagnosis: She was massively, chronically sleep deprived."
Although I am not in my twenties confused, nor do I have children-yet, I do notice myself having some of those symptoms and I really think I need to off load after 3 long years.
