What did you miss?
Philip and I drove about 50 mins from Vancouver to Maple Ridge to check out the event I was raving about.
As I entered the building no one was there to greet us. There was a young lady name Jaclyn Skye who was singing. Very pretty lady and lovely voice by the way. I was completely oblivious because I was guessing my way in. There were about 6 tables set up and a loungey sofa setting with a massive feather spray pillar in the middle. I also noticed some ladies were carrying a nice little goody of some sort, but wasn't sure if I could grab one myself from the reception table? Anyhow, I didn't wait for the lady to finish singing and helped myself to what was a glass stone in the shape of a diamond goody. Girls gotta have their bling, right~! I entered my name for a draw (really hoping I win) and nothing really happened except my fiance and I were just walking around and looking at books and portfolios Kim Raddysh had personally designed herself for wedding events.
Kim is quite well known and I've seen her work and face in the magazines. Mostly wedding ones, but it was great to be able to see some of her work. I believe this is the official opening of her studio where she can meet with clients and show them her work and design ~~ something special for each couple or event.
To my suprise I was somehow the last bride-to-be that showed up and recieved a bigger rock! It's the blue one! I seldom win anything and I'm glad I showed up. It's glass of course - if only it was real! Drinks on me!
