For Cantonese customs their is something called Ji Mui's and DCS which really means Brides Attendants and Grooms Attendants. They are also known as helpers which all get boutonnieres and corsages.

A lot of Cantonese weddings will have a morning session when the groom goes to the brides house to pick her up, but before entering into the house the groom and the DCS needs to go through a somewhat nasty door game given by the Ji Mui's.

Anyhow I banned having that at my own wedding, but will still keep the somewhat tradition of corsages and boutonnieres.

I know it's not a good photo and it's not in color, but I can't give away too much because I still want to make it a surprise for me girlfriends! I'm not sure how many to make, but started last night and I've made 8 already! Probably 12 more to go? Still haven't thought about what to do for the guys yet... but I'm sure it'll come to me!
